In our more than 50 years of existence we can look back on a long and successful record of providing legal advice. To preserve and develop this heritage, we work constantly to maintain the approach of our founding partners, Jürgen Vogt and Günther Casimir: as attorneys and notaries, both have always strove for the optimal solution by listening to the client and understanding their personal or business goals. This requires assertiveness and professional competence, but also an instinct for compromise, when it would best serve the client’s interests. The reputation of our founding partners thus represents both an honour and a commitment to further develop the professional and technical capacity of our firm. This philosophy drives the continuous training of our attorneys and state-of-the art IT processes.

Our law firm was founded in 1968 by Jürgen Vogt and Günther Casimir who were were also active as notaries until 2009. In 1977, attorney Thomas Weinreich joined the firm and served as a notary from 1997 to 2018. In 1984, the law firm moved from its premises at Nollendorfplatz to the Kurfürstendamm. In 1995, attorney Dr Aarne Stüven, expert in insurance law, joined the firm.

Since 2002, our team has been enhanced by advogada Maria do Rosário de Pinho Bayer. She completed her legal training in Portugal and is a member of the German and Portugese bar. In July 2008, Karsten Balke joined our firm in order to strengthen our expertise, specifically in the fields of commercial and company law, intellectual property rights and international private law.

Marian Hensky joined the firm in early 2014increasing our expertise in civil, commercial and art law. In 2018, Jeannette Will came on board to add to our expanding commercial and property law practice.

Theresa Alto and Christof Kienbaum joined the firm in 2019, each bringing with them extensive aviation and corporate law experience. As a native English speaker and member of the New York State Bar Association, Ms. Alto has strengthened our international commercial team. Mr. Kienbaum brought with him comprehensive commercial and litigation experience.

Our premises on Kurfürstendamm are distinguished by spacious and well-lit offices where ideas and discussions between attorney and client can develop freely, and of course in confidence. We would be pleased to introduce additional friends and business partners besides our valued clients to our firm, for example at our regular networking Meetings.
